Mrs. Lisa Marie Banker Saillant, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 24, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Saillant was born in Monroe on April 30, 1970, to Kernan Matthew Banker, Jr., and the late Evelyn Fanguy Banker. She was reared in Bastrop and graduated from St. Frederick High School in Monroe and from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1994. While at LSU she tutored foreign exchange students. Mrs. Saillant's passions included camping, animals, children and her husband. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Bob Inzina officiating the service. She was buried in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Saillant is survived by her husband of seven years, Stephen David Saillant; her father, Kernan Matthew Banker, Jr., and his wife Norma Banker; brother Craig Matthew Banker and wife Jill; sister Karen Theresa Clabaugh and husband Jason; step-sister Lauree Peters and husband John; and step sister Joann Hancock and husband Robert; mother-in-law, Nicole Saillant; and sister-in-law Jessy Saillant. Lisa was courageous, loving, compassionate and caring. She will be greatly missed.
